AGCAS leads and supports collaboration between its members to develop and deliver effective and high quality higher education careers services
If you deliver careers information, advice and guidance AND you'd like to be better equipped to help clients make informed choices about employability or have ideas you'd like to share with others, this AGCAS web community is for you.
The overall objective is to enable the student, by the time they graduate to have built up a personal development record to ensure their employability. This will include a record of academic achievement, a wide variety of skills and an interesting range of work experience and extra-curricular activities. The process involved in helping them meet this objective involves a regular cycle of recording, reflection and planning across different strands of their development.
Decade of Success
The Business Bridge project will have completed 10 years of service as of the 1st April 2005, and more significantly, move into new markets following the success of the project in the SME sector over the last decade. To celebrate this, a short 8 page publication has been produced detailing the successes of the project over that period. Major milestones which have been achieved by the project and exceptional case studies are also included, to give a detailed overview of some of these achievements. In addition, there is an insight into the future of the project as BB develops into one of several 'Knowledge Exchange Centres' across the UK. This easy to navigate mini-site is a slightly more detailed web version of the publication, with a downloadable PDF available. The site also provides contact details, should you wish to learn more about BB and how we can help you whether you are a business, student or project of similar nature.
