The York Award programme has been developed by the University of York to enable education and employers to work in partnership to benefit its students. The personal development programme is aimed at developing students' understanding of the world of work by addressing key skills such as communication, numeracy, improving own learning, working with others, information literacy, financial literacy, time management and negotiation. This site aims to provide students and staff with up-to-date information about the York Award and other associated courses, and to provide employers and other visitors with a broad overview of the programme.
