The scheme is delivered within Blackboard Academic suite and follows a resource-template model. The templates promote reflection and planning in areas of personality, aspirations, skills, etc and follow a four-part cyclic process with the following components: 'About me'; 'Opportunities', 'Action planning' and 'CV building'. On-line support is provided via the resource. Student induction is provided via tailored didactic sessions delivered jointly by the careers service and academic staff and supported via an eight-page booklet. All the university's colleges have incorporated student PDP activities within the curriculum and aspects of these are increasingly being assessed via shared access to student eportfolio content.
