Embedding Key Skills and Personal Development in Undergraduate Teaching

We instigated a group project for students as part of the assessment for first-year undergraduates. Students self-divide into small groups (of 4/5) and carry out independent research which is then delivered, presentation-style, to members of the department as well as to members selected from a pool of assessors who are both external to the department and/or the University.
