Encouraging student reflection on assignments in the Department of Law with the aid of a reflective questionnaire
The main task is for staff to devise a short number of questions which will engage the students in reflection about a particular assignment. This exercise can be carried out for any kind of assignment and for any level of course. The student submits the assignment and fills out the reflective questionnaire, which is appended to the assignment. The two documents are kept together so that the marker can address specific points raised in the students reflection or to focus the feedback comments.
